Healthcare and Medical Technologies in Singapore and Thailand

From 4 to 8 September 2017, Karify has participated in the Healthcare and Medical Technologies Business Mission to Singapore and Bangkok. Our company was selected to participate in this Bussiness Mission, which was organized by the EU Gateway Business Avenues.

Our CEO Joris Moolenaar and the Head of International Business Development, Romy de Groot, represented Karify during the Business Mission. The first day was spent in Singapore, where the program contained business meetings and networking sessions. A line-up for the booth was no exception: the booth was really popular. The other two days included a booth at the Medical Fair Thailand 2017 .

Singapore wants to be the number one regarding healthcare innovations: healthcare is one of the key investment areas. Healthcare expenditure in Singapore is expected to grow to 23.5€ billion by 2020. One of the reasons is the aging population and rising healthcare costs. eHealth would, therefore, be the solution to help the containment of these costs and provide patient-centric care.
